PARTIES

Parties, Social Events, Birthday  parties,  are all available at both Bearsden and Bellahouston ski clubs.

Parties available are

• Skiing
• Snowboarding
• Tubing
• Sledging
• Evening Functions

Bellahouston ski club

Is situated in the beautiful Bellahouston Park and the ski club provide all of the above parties as well as private functions such as receptions and big birthday parties within the clubhouse supplying something for everyone. 

The club has just obtained a new Hobbit House which gives the user the feeling of privacy and it is very cosy. It can be used for small functions as well as housing the children after their parties where they can have food and relax after the fun on the slope.

Skiing and Snowboarding parties are limited in size and run at the weaker ability, this means that it is better to have everyone at the same ability or those more advance may feel left out.

Sledging and Tubing Parties there is no ability needed and both these are really great fun and they can be provided for larger groups.

Sledging Parties are mainly for the younger age groups and are held on the smaller slope allowing for parents to have no need to worry. This is very energetic and will tire the little darlings out with all the running up and sliding down the slope,  there will be lots of screaming due to the thrill of coming down the slope at speed.

Tubing Parties are really fantastic again with no ability needed other than stamina and a head for heights. The effect that you can get is similar to that of being on a ride in the theme parks. Once you have tried it, you will be telling all your friends and will want to do it again and again. Tubing Parties are not only for birthdays but suitable for team building as well as many adult parties.

Evening Functions are extremely popular at the club and the staff are fantastic at looking after you and supplying all that they can do. The party can dance the night away to discos or bands and the club fit out the boot room with soft furnishings for those who just want a quieter corner to relax and chat. If you supply them with photos they can put them on the big T,V to run throughout the night. Only thing is you will have to supply your own food as there is no kitchen facility.

Again Skiing and Snowboarding Parties are limited to 10 people per party and will run at the least ability, but is great fun for those who have never tried these sports and those who do hold such parties always have great fun and learn something new.

Tubing Parties are so popular and there is a huge number who are return visitors for this event, tubing parties are held on the big slope and again with the thrill ride effect. Tubing is available from 6 years to adults and parties are an hour long, food can also be supplied for children and there is a small party room upstairs  which is available for 45mins. The food option is great and the cafe are happy to supply food for special diet requirements. Julie and her staff do all the work and are fantastic with it, leaving the customer only having to supply a cake.

Tubing is held for many other reasons such as big birthdays for you adults (the big kids), as well as corporate team building and many schools book out the slope holding sessions as a treat for the whole school. Football groups, Cubs, Guides and many more social activity groups are often seen doing tubing.

Bearsden hold many Functions in their fabulous Function hall and Bar not only for themselves but also for their members as well as non-members.

Scott who runs the bar is always happy to supply his extra special advice on wine ranges and supply everything that is needed for the function wither it be a Christening, Communion, Big Birthday or a Social dinner/event.

There is room for a disco and a dance floor and the kitchen supply a great range of menus to choose from with a whole range of food options. This means you only need to book, pay and select your menu and the club will do all the work.

 If you ask Jeanette  in the office when you are booking of numbers for disco's  or entertainers she has a huge list of numbers and her fantastic range of  advice will make any party extremely successful.
